The E-learning platform is now available!

The E-learning platform developed within the Sustain-TEX project provides a training program, titled 'Sustainability and Circularity in the Textile Sector'.The training is delivered in 6 modules, comprising 3 units each. All courses are designed as video tutorials (accessible through smartphone, computer, or tablet), supported with video scripts and quizzes, and an hour per module in length. It is based on a Learning Management System (LMS), enabling the complete management of all aspects of an online learning environment. It is a standalone and autonomous learning system, in the sense that it does not need any manual assessment and/or marking from an instructor, so learners get their scores as quickly as they progress in the courses.

All courses in E-platform are made available for free, only requiring the creation of a user account, in case the learner seeks to pursue certification. Learners, willing to do so, should cover all the materials and score 80 and above in the quizzes. They can retake quizzes up to 5 times to score higher. Once the above-mentioned criteria are met, the system automatically generates a certification, and informs the learner via e-mail. Learners will have lifetime access to the courses, so there is no deadline to complete a course once started as well as they will have access to all the available materials even after completion. Additionally, learners do not have to follow the sequential order of the materials or cover the whole content unless they would like to pursue certification. Optionally, learners can access the videos on YouTube.

To create a user account, click the log-in button on the top right corner. Provide an e-mail address, set a password and type your name and surname. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to access to your account. However, please be aware that this may take some time since the approval is granted manually. Once you receive the confirmation e-mail, direct to the course page, log-in to your account and click ‘Start the Course’ button, appearing right beneath the Project’s logo. Once you start the course, you will see that each module follows the same structure: learning outcomes, three relative units, and a quiz.
